The tiny St Francis Chapel hidden in Pengwedhen woods near Helford; built in 1930 in memory of Dr Leo O'Neill and dedicated to St Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals
St Francis' Chapel was built in 1930 in memory of one of the owners of Pengwedhen, a Dr Leo O'Neill the brother of Mrs Sybil Jerram. Built by local quarry workers. It is in good condition and shows signs of being regularly maintained. S hown on the current Mastermap. (b1, b2).
