Tregenna Castle, Tregenna, St Ives

the mortal remains of
Samuel Stephens Esq^re,
of tregenna castle cornwall,
and 49 baker street london.
He departed this life at Leamington,
whither he had come for his health,
on tuesday february 25th, 1834,
aged 66 years.
by many were his talents admired and
his virtues respected, but, by his afflicted
family alone, could all his noble
qualities be appreciated; and by them
will his memory long be fondly
cherished, and his loss deplored
- requiescat in pace -
