Celebration of life Adele Eustice, Trevaskis Farm funeral
A celebration of the life of one of the founders of Trevaskis Farm has taken place with people invited to still make donations to Parkinsons UK.
Adele Eustice passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, aged 78 years. Her funeral took place on Tuesday, July 28 at the Parish Church of Saint Gwinear, Churchtown, Gwinear, Hayle.
Adele was one of the founders of Trevaskis Farm in 1980, along with her husband Paul, and who established the Trevaskis Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant (as it was then known) in 1987.

Adele and her sister, Charmaine, worked together, for over 20 years, to build the restaurant business.
Together they built a reputation for generous portions, wholesome food and spectacular sweets which allowed the business to grow in the years that followed.
Initially the focus was on pick your own strawberries and raspberries but throughout the 1980s the business grew rapidly.
By the end of the decade the farm was growing over 30 different fruit and vegetable crops for pick your own and had also established a farm shop and a popular restaurant business.
Posting on Facebook, Trevaskis Fair said Adele’s was a life defined by hard work and determination from an early age.
“Always leading by example, Adele inspired in her staff the same high standards and indefatigable work ethic instilled in her through her early years of farming in West Cornwall.
“Adele touched the lives of the many young people who came to work with her over the years, always there with advice, support or encouragement if they weren’t moving fast enough!
“Adele became well known to her many loyal, local customers as the business flourished and was always willing to accommodate everyone no matter how small the space. Her love for the business stayed with her till the end. She was frustrated that illness prevented her from working in the Restaurant she loved and where she felt she belonged from dawn till dusk every day!”
