This Indenture made the twentieth 
day of November one thousand nine hundred and eight BETWEEN 
CHARLES ROBERT PRIDEAUX BRUNE of Prideaux Place Padstow in the County of Cornwall
a Colonel His Majesty s Army retired (hereinafter called the Vendor) of the first part
CAREW DAVIES GILBERT of Trelissick: in the County of Cornwall Esquire and: FRANCIS 
JOHN HEXT of Tredethy in the same County Esquire, (hereinafter  called. ‘the. Trustees) of the 
second part and Arthur St George Sargeaunt of No 83 Madeley Road   
of Ealing in the County of Middlesex Gentleman ----------------------------------------------
(hereinafter called the Purchaser) of the third part   WHEREAS  under an Indenture of
Settlement dated the fifteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and eighty three and .
made between Charles Glynn Prideaux Brune of the first part the Vendor of the second part.
Francis Aylmer Graves Sawle (since deceased) and the said Carew Davies Gilbert of the third
part (being: a Settlement made in contemplation of the marriage then intended and shortly .
afterwards solemnized: between the Vendor and The Honorable Katherine Cecilia Prideaux
Brune: at the date of and in the same. Indenture called Katherine Cecilia Knatchbull Hugessen
Spinster) the Vendor is now. beneficially entitled during' his life to the possession of the lands 
and hereditaments hereinafter described together with other hereditaments with divers
remainders: over AND WHEREAS the said Carew Davies Gilbert and Francis John Hext are 
the present Trustees of the said Inderiture of  Settlement for the purposes of the Settled Land 
Acts AND  WHEREAS the Vendor as Tenant for life in exercise of the powers in that behalf  
conferred upon him by the Settled Land. Act. 1882 and the Acts amending the same has agreed
with the Purchaser for the absolute sale to him of the hereditaments hereinafter described and
intended to be hereby granted being part of a portion of the hereditaments comprised in and
assured by the said Indenture of Settlement which have been recently laid out for the purposes
of a Building Estate and the inheritance thereof in fee simple in possession free from 
incumbrances but subject to the restrictions and covenants by the Purchaser hereinafter
expressed  and contained for the sum of three hundred and eighty pounds   NOW THIS
INDENTURE WITNESSETH that in pursuance of the said Agreement and in consideration
of the sum of three hundred and eighty pounds   upon the execttion of these presents to the
Trustees by the direction and with the privity of the Vendor paid by the Purchaser the
receipt and payment whereof as aforesaid the Trustees and the Vendor respectively do hereby
acknowledge  and also in consideration of the Covenants by the Purchaser hereinafter contained
the Vendor as Beneficial owner in excercise of the power given to or vested in him by the
Settled Land Act 1882 and the Acts amending the same and of all other powers (if any) him
hereunto enabling  Doth hereby grant and convey unto the Purchaser and his Heirs ALL that
piece of land situate in the parish of Padstow in the said County of Cornwall containing
three thousand five hundred and nine square yards  or thereabouts as the same .is delineated and shown with
its dimensions and abuttals in the plan hereon and therein surrounded by a red verge line
TO HAVE and TO HOLD all the said premises hereinbefore described and expressed to be
