Estate of the gross value of £26,480,
with net personalty of £22,384 has been
left by Mr. Nicholas John Jory of
Somervill, Connor Downs, Gwithian,
who died on December 18th last.

Mr. Jory was a well-known contractor.
For many years he erected the stands
and accommodation huts. etc., for the
Royal Cornwall Association, and among
the many works he carried out locally
was the making of the new road between
Newlyn and Mousehole.

Probate of the will, with the codicil,
has been granted to his widow, Mrs.
Mary Ann Jory, of Somervill,   Camp-
bell Perceval Jory, of Winslow, Tre-
lawney-road, Camborne,   and Miss Ida
Cecelia Grace Jory, of Somervill.

Testator left £2,500 in trust for his
wife during widowhood, -with the re-
mainder to the residuary estate;  £3,000
in trust for his son, John Franklin
Jory; and the residue of the property
in trust for his wife during widowhood
and then real estate,  Connor Downs and
Breage,  and £1,300 to his sons
Campbell Perceval Jory and Nicholas
Archibald Jory;  other real estate an
£3,000 and certain furniture and his
motor-car to his daughter Ida Cecelia 
Grace Jory; £1,600 and certain house
property to his son Henry Frederick;
other house property and £1,200 and his
machinery, stock-in-trade, etc., at Wheal
Grey Concrete Works to his son Thomas
Leonard Jory:  £2,000 in trust for his
son John Franklin Jory;   and the resi-
due of the property to his children in
equal shares.
