To Road Contractors and Others.
TO BE LET BY TENDER, in two Lots, for a term
of three years from Midsummer next, the
REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE IN ORDER of
the Highways in the parish of Gwinear, in Cornwall.
Lot 1. The Highway from the Boundary of the
Parish at Nanpuska, through Churchtown to Baripper
Bridge ; the Highway from the Boundary of the Parish
at Connor Downs to the Boundary of the Parish
against Crowan, near Rosewarne mine ; and the detached
piece of Road, formerly old Turnpike, from the new
Turnpike at Connor Downs to Angarrack, comprising
altogether about five miles and five furlongs of Road.
Lot 2. All the other Highways in the Parish, and
which ie south and west of Lot 1, and comprise about
five miles and seven furlongs.
All materials and work will be subject to the approval
of the Surveyor of the Board.
Specifications may be seen at the Office of Mr.
WILLIAM PAULL, the Surveyor, at Carnhell, near
Gwinear Road Station, or at the offices of the under-
signed.
The Manual Labour in the Parish is Let until
Michaelmas next, and this Contract will be set, subject to
such letting. The Tender must state the deduction
offered by the Contractor on account of this quarter.
Sealed Tenders for both together or either separately
of the said Lots, will be received by the undersigned, up
to Thursday the 6th June, inclusive.
The Board does not bind itself to accept the lowest, or
any, Tender.
