FUNERAL AT CHYNHALE
The funeral of Mr. John Clifford Bickford-.Smith, J.P. High Sheriff of Cornwall, of Trevarno, who died last week fit the age of fifty-nine, took place at Chynale Methodist Chapel on Monday the interment being in the family vault in front of the chapel.
Ministers taking part were the Revs. F . H. Pritchard (chairman of the Corn-wall Methodist District), E. J. Chappell (Porthleveui, R. F. Haslock (superinten-dent, Porthleven Methodist Circuit) E. H. Chappel (Marazion), and A. R. Stephens (Porthleven). The organist was Miss F. Dale, and the hymns sung were " O, God out help in ages past," and " Guide me) Thou great Jehovah."
The entrance to the vault was lined with flowers and evergreens.
Mourners were the Widow, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bickford-Smith (son and daughter-in-law), Mrs C. B. Bickford, London (sister), Mr. J. Bickford (nephew). Colonel G. E. Stanley Smith Miss Laura Smith (also representing Miss Margaret Smith), Dr. Enid Smith, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. B. Smith, Miss N. Strutt and Mr. W. D. Tyack (cousins). Miss Burgess (sister-in-law).
