PERRANUTHNOE.

School Board Election.—The poll  was taken on Wednesday with the following- result: — John Williams, Goldsithney, blacksmith, 84 ; W. Berriman, Acton, farmer, 77 ;  H. H. Harris. Goldsithney, mer-chant, 61 ; Mrs Trevelyan, Trevarthean. gentlewoman 50 ; T. Gundry, Perran, farmer, 38 ; George Fox, Goldsithney, builder, 26.    The first five were elected. Mrs Trevelyan and Messrs Gundry and Berriman were members of the old board. But little interest was manifested in the election, for out of a register of 246 voters only 70 registered their votes.     Mr  T. H. Cornish was the returning officer.
