Cornishman - Wednesday 19 January 1921

HAYLE FARMER'S FAILURE.

MR. W. J. HOSKEN ADJUDICATED
BANKRUPT.

At Truro on Friday, before the Official Receiver (Mr. Coulter Hancock), an ad-journed  meeting  was  held of  the creditors of Mr. William John Hosken, farmer, of Pulsack, Hayle.

Debtor's statement of accounts showed a deficiency of £14,058.

The  Official Receiver said the first meet-ing was adjourned, because the debtor thought he might, through friend, make a proposal of composition,  but no proposal had been filed,  and  there was nothing left hut to adjudicate Mr. Hosken a bankrupt.

This was dome, and the Official Receiver intimated that if scheme were subsequently submitted and carried into effect the bank-ruptcy would be annulled

Mr.  James Thomas, accountant, Truro, was appointed trustee, and a committee of investigation was set up
