Jennifer was born in 1857 and was baptised at Gwithian Parish Church on the 12^th October 1859.

Jane married Stephen Barnes on the 24^th May 1879 at the Wesleyan Chapel at Wall. Stephen was 22, a mariner and his father was William Barnes (dec’d) who had been a miner. Stephen was living at Angarrack. Jane was living at Connor Downs. Stephen signed and Jane made her mark.

Children:-  Grace Ann, Esther Jane, Mary (Minnie), William Ernest, Amy Wearne, John Henry, Violet May and Stephen

1861  Jane was living with her parents in Connor Downs

1871   Jane (here referred to as Jennifer) was still with her parents

1881   Stephen and Jane are living in Angarrack with their first child, Grace Ann. Stephen is still a mariner

1891   Stephen and Jane are still living in Angarrack now with their first four children. Stephen’s age is given as 40 we can’t be right. He is now a labourer.

1901  Living in Hayle with their children, William, Amy, John, Violet and Stephen

1911  Stephen and Jane are still living in Angarrack now with Mary, Amy, John Henry, Violet May and Stephen
