WEST PENWITH POLICE COURT

OVER 100 RATE DEFAULTERS

  West Penwith justices held a special court at Penzance Wednesday, to deal with over a hundred rate cases. The magistrates were Col. W. L. Harvey (in the chair), the Mayor of Penzance (Aid. R. Thomas), and Mr. C. Ellis.

  The summonses were issued by the West Penwith Rural District Council.

  Suspended orders for distress warrants were made in the cases of T. Hutchens, Churchtown, Madron (who was <£2 14s. 7d. in arrears); Bennett Drew. Tregoddick Cottages, Churchtown, Madron (£2 2s.
