The funeral of Miss Phyllis Eddy, who died at St Michael's Hospital, Hayle, took place at Phillack on Sunday morning, Nov. 3rd, amid every token of respect and esteem; deceased was only 14 years of age, and in the village of Angarrack, where she had spent the whole of her life, she was universally loved. The bearers were the deceased's Sunday school companions, and a large number of the officials and scholars followed in procession.

The family mourners were: Mrs. R. Eddy, mother; Mr. R. Eddy, brother; Miss Hilda Eddy, sister; Mr. Rescorla, uncle; Msis Kathleen Eddy, sister; Mr. Jos. James, uncle; Mrs. Williams, aunt; Mr. James Williams, and Miss Whear. Many beautiful floral tributes were sent.
