Notes:

In 1725 the 3rd Baronet married Catherine, daughter of Sir Nicholas Morice and co-heiress of
Sir William Morice of Werrington in North Devon.   Catherine brought significant wealth to
the St Aubyn family, including the manor of Stoke Damerel in Devon, which would add
greatly to the family’s wealth in the later eighteenth and nineteenth centuries when it was
developed as Devonport, Morice Town and Stoke, suburbs of Plymouth, and home to the
great Naval Dockyard
