		Hayle Parish constituted 1870; St Elwyn Parish Church and Registers \| St Elwyns Parish constituted 1870, formed from western part of parish of Phillack; tiny parish of only 198 acres centred around needs of Harvey iron foundry at western end of Hayle, medieval Parish of Phillack mainly served needs of eastern end of town where Cornish Copper Company based.
