glad to know in whose possession now exist the deeds and 
muniments of the family of Harris of Wortham (1725) and of 
Pickwell (1750). I should also be glad to ascertain how this 
family of Harris became possessed of the Manor of Godrevy, 
formerly part of the possessions of the Arundells

The bridge at Mellanvrane is early C19 and recorded as "pons molini de bron" in 1340 (b1). The bridge survives (b2) for Mellanvrane mill (see PRN 31789). In 1977 EH listed the structure and described it as Roughly-hewn granite monoliths and granite rubble. It is two-span bridge with lintels carrying the road surface. Low granite kerb with C20 iron…
