ALLEGED ASSAULT ON CONSTABLE AT HAYLE.
SAILOR AND SOLDIER REMANDED
At Camborne Police Station on Tuesday, Harry Bawden, stoker, R.N., and Pte. Albert Evans, M.G.C., both of Hayle, were charged with being drunk and disorderly and assaulting P.C. Wherrv in the execution of his duty at Hayle last Saturday night. On the application of Supt. Smale, accused were remanded until Feb. 4th.
